Drum Crunch presents the 5 Best Youtube Drummers of All Time — The definitive list of drummer talent on Youtube.
The following 5 drummers have racked up for over 100,000,00 (100 million) video views, gained worldwide fame and fortune, and have tons of and tons of crazy screaming groupies (OK we made that part up).
Here’s the list, in order of greatness…
Cobus Potgieter
How does a 22 year old kid from South Africa garner over 25 million views on Youtube and turn into a drumming sensation?
Just ask Cobus Potgeiter, or better yet watch him play for a couple minutes and the answer will become very obvious (checkout the Cobus Method).
There’s a reason why DW Drums, DrumChannel and TRX Cymbals got on the Cobus train and inked him to a deal, he’s freakin’ brilliant…and a down to earth chap to boot.

Steve Moore
Steve Moore (aka This Guy Is at the Wrong Gig and The Mad Drummer) rocketed to worldwide fame when a spectator shot a video of Steve Playing with ‘Rick and the All Nighters’ at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA.
Since that time, Steve has appeared at multiple drum festivals, where he has performed with Thomas Lang, Benny Greb, and Keith Carlock, to name just a few. He even headlined The Adams Drummers Festival in Belgium, and closed the show with “Mike Portnoy” by his side!!!

Andrea Vadrucci
Andrea Vadrucci (aka VaDrum on Youtube) gained attention and fame on Youtube by performing quirky drum covers to songs like the Mario Bros Theme, Macgyver, Barber of Seville, and the Simpsons.
What most people don’t know is that Andrea is a respected drummer in Italy having won “Drummer of the Year” in 2007 in the technical section and has played live with greats Billy Cobham, JoJo Mayer and Steve Gadd.

Jacob Armen
He may be only 3 1/2 feet tall and has to stand up to play half of his drum kit, but Jacob Armen can play drums better than you. In this video from the tonight show (we miss you Johnny) Andrea is only 7 years old but plays well beyond his years.
Armen has since gone on to get bigger, and to play drums even better. You can checkout his new stuff on his Youtube Channel here.

SnubbyJ
OK, yeah we know that Kent Jenkins (aka SnubbyJ) isn’t technically a drummer, he’s more of a musical stylist and entertainer but you have to admit he totally kicks butt.
I mean seriously, who builds their own PVC instrument and then belts out tunes like the Theme Song from the Office, Crazy Train, the James Bond Theme, Mario Brothers, Lady Gaga and crushes the finale with The Final Countdown by Eorope?
SnubbyJ does, and we salute you for it!

Animal (honorable mention)
Yes Animal is a Muppet, but it didn’t seem right that a drummer with his pedigree should be left off the list of best youtube drummers. He’s a legend that’s been bashing the skins and holding down the rhythm section since 1971 in Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.
He’s also the reason many of us started playing drums in the first place. Oh, and he held his own in a battle against Buddy Rich which is no small feat.
Influences — Ringo Starr, Keith Moon, Buddy Rich
On The Muppet Show, Animals’s drumming is performed by Ronnie Verrell

I think Fede Rabaquino shouldve been on here instead of snubbyj, you even wrote hes technically not a drummer, and fede just has a look of fun on his face through his videos, not to mention he records in high quality like cobus
that was awesome dude
Look up JimmyKadesch and then redo this list w/ all 5 slots being Jimmy Kadesch. Right now.
Excuse me? Who built pvc instruments in the first place and played them live? blue man group did. Stop giving snubbyj all the credit.
Luke Holland? No? C’mon!
